Guilherme Cezar Coelho

Guilherme collaborates with the Instituto São Fernando in Vassouras, Rio de Janeiro, whose goal is to the development of successful public policy and to strengthen governmental institutions. He produced and directed the film "São João em Caruaru" in 1999 about the popular São João festival in Pernambuco. Guilherme was co-producer and co-director of two other videos in 2001 - "Se Tu Fores" about the composers of the Portela samba school and "Dorotéia Masquerade", a multimedia adaptation in English of the play “Dorotéia” from Nelson Rodrigues. In 2003, he directed the full-length documentary "Fala Tu". Two years later, Guilherme choose the Portuguese artist Fernando Lemos from São Paulo as the protagonist of his medium-length documentary "Fernando Lemos, Atrás da Imagem". He is also the executive producer of "Jogo de Cena" of Eduardo Coutinho and director of "PQD" his second full-length film for cinema. Guilherme holds a bachelor of arts from Stanford University. He is fluent in English and Portuguese.
